Here you can post all your thoughts, imaginations and wishes concerning characters in Diablo 3
I am hoping for a summoner with more deadly looking summons more threatening kinda like the summoner in hellgate london and i am hoping for a male sorcerer or wizard and that you can edit your own charactors that would be awesome.
I think you should be able to edit your own characters because Wold of Warcraft blows it out of the park with that feature
I also think with the editing that we should be able to choose the gender.
and angel char and a demon char
i agree with editing your chars and the wizard and also a char that can shapeshift into different things than werewolf or werebear
I think there should deff still be all the chars that there are but be able to do more shit with them like editing more than just ur name and stats ans skill levles
they should have an edit and allow you to choose gender
I want my character to look stronger when I put more points into the strength stat
I would really like to see more detailed character builds with more variables to change, multi-classing would be kinda cool might not fit though, would like to see more character customization options (voice, hair, build, gender,ect.) More classes definately! I want to see LOTS of animations, gimme animations for everything, sheathing the sword, parries, crits, individual spell casting animations, interesting idle animations, ect. ect.
multiclassing is easy.
simply give each character their original 3 skilltabs, and they get to pick a fourth from a different class.
i want to see-
*original 7 classes from d2
*gender counterparts for each class
*fluid animations for ANY environment interactions
i hope in the next diablo you get to play as one of diablos minions who turn on him, so you playing as an even creature who has turned on his brothers. Better you could fight as Baal(Diablos brother)who wants sides with the humans for some reason… also with the new characters i hope that each character as a diffrent storyline and a diffrent path or route they have to take in the game
I hope that blizzard will keep the same sort of item system because well you all know it fucking raped, and enhance the dueling system a little bit. Maybe the duels get ranked or after X amount of duels you get a stat point, skill point, item… ect..
i think a point should be made to develop more weapon types for each character class. If I’m a sorcerer I should have more choices than just using a stinking staff. There should also be more shield and single-handed weapon combinations for me to use. Or maybe there should be a magic bonus for not even using a weapon or shield. As in the Wheel of Time some channelers needed to weave patterns using their hands however to some it was unnecessary.
Sorry the above comment was for weapons. As far as characters more emphasis needs to be put on expanded playability. To beat the game more than once as in nightmare and hell, players were forced into certain builds. There were only several that could make it to hell and players were forced to build their characters to beat the game instead of building their characters to fit the player and also being able to beat the game.
I think you should be able to completely edit your character, from you hair colour to how tall you are.

I say it should be similar to Guild Wars for the characters…be able to edit your character with diff hair, eyes, , sex, etc., and be able to change your stats and skills later in the game
i think all the classes from diablo 2 need to be there still in diablo 3 and classes that should be added are a healer class,a hand to hand fighting class,and a samurai like class
also the paladin should have a shield throwing move cuz it would be tight
I would like to play with a samurai or a ninja and they should use weapons and armors from japan ages.Better,there should be characters of others parts of the world like Africa and China

Alright. Now I am the BIGGEST RPG nerd ever, I love Diablo like there is no tomorrow, I think I should be hired at Blizzard for the idea making lol. but anyways. I think that when you boot up the game, and you create an account and make your char half the screen should be bright and heaven-ish and other side should be dark and evil looking, so on each side there are chars that you can pick from for playing single player, and an option to create your own char, choose, race, gender, the design of your char, the chars name, and the chars 3 starting weapons, depending on the race you picked you could start with equipment that suits your needs. umm jw but has it occured to any one that the 2nd trailer looks damn good? must have taken some time to make for nothing? to piss off costers and fans? Doubt that.. even april fools, pissin off costermers is bad. for the chars i think same chars but somethin dif with each like a few new skils or just something special. add 3 more cool chars. make costomizable
i think that if your a barbarian you should be able to use two handed weapons in one hand if your strength is high enough, i also think that other classes like the palidin should be able to dual wield at a certain level. some kinds of primitive firearms would be cool also, like in wow
they should add a samurai,monk, and perhaps a defensive/healing class. gender selection and changing looks would be good. and i would like to see certain stats really affect the chars look. More str=stonger looking. More dex = cut muscles. More vitality = bigger. more intelegence adds glowing eyes or an aura or something.
tons of animations for everything; sword sheething, more animations for attacking; different animations for all spells. also i would like to see the druid shift into a lion maybe. and maybe even a char class that isnt human.
it would be kinda cool if you could play as an evil character and fight against angels and god and shit, that would be tight
i agree with cam, it would be sweet to have like an agel character, or some other non human
npcs opinions of the character should change depending on
what class (or gender if they do that also) you are. also
like pretty much everyone else has said, there should be
a “angel” character and a “demon character” but there would
have to be some story twist to make the demon fight for the
good side so that there wouldnt have to be a whole new set
of quests just for one character.
i will say the new classes that must be made..
1st) Warrior/Barbarian/Paladin
2nd) Thief/Assasin
3rd) Summoner
4th) Necromancer/Dark Lord
5th) Ranger
6th) Magi/Mage/Wizzard/Sorcerer/Horadrim Sorcerer/etc
7th) Druid
8th) Priest
9th) Knight> Similar to Barbarians/Warrior/Paladins but with more tanking ability and NO skills
10th) Slayer
11th) Beastmaster
12th) Dragoon Master
13th) Trapper
14th) Vampire/Vampiress
15th) Morpher
16th) Alcemist
17th) Magic Gladiator
18th) Elementalist
19th) Devouer
20th) Rogue
Thats all the classes they should add

WoW is nothing 2 diablo its stupid and has way 2 much detials making it no fun diablo is not a rpg only game its even more big on pvp therefor u cant have the giant world like Wow itrs gay!
a warlock who is seeking revenge becuase he was manipulated by the prime evils.His powers would consist of dark enrgy maybe energywaves and blasts and self enhancing ability like given himself 200 str,or dex,speed or whatever for a an alotted time.Also i would like to see a summoner who summons creatures finalfantasy style.
D2 was awesome. Keep the character classes. Maybe one or two more, but I would be happy if everything was exactly the same with more story line. Better graphics, More specific animation. It just wouldn’t be Diablo if they changed too much. . . I hope they keep the camera view! Its perfect, no matter where you are.
