There are lots of questions about the multiplayer option of Diablo 3.
We’ve already seen up to four players in cooperation modus in the gameplay trailer, but there are still many open questions.
How many players will be able to work together in one session?
What will these sessions be like?
Will it be solved like in the former Diablo games, that one player can open sessions up to eight players?
Will there be ingame instances?

Blizzard mentioned that their focus on the cooperation modus is very important in the development of Diablo 3.
That doesn’t mean that there will be no PvP part, though.
Maybe there will be an arena modus?

For all the tough players out there, there will also be a hardcore modus implemented, where dying will result in the loss of the character.
The option, that a player can choose to hunt down other players (”playerkillers”) will not be available anymore.

The trading system will be very simple and fast, but no details are given yet.
Will there be some sort of marketplace, where all traders can gather together for business at the same time?
Blizzard’s server capacities has been stocked up recently, so maybe this will come true.

An important point is the well discussed monthly fee.
Diablo 3 is a classical hack ‘n slay adventure and no MMORPG.
The multiplayer option will be available through the well known Battlenet, which is free of charge.
In our opinion there will be no monthly fees, but there could be some other options, e.g. like Hellgate London, where you can pay for being a subscriber, and get extra content and goodies, which are not available for “non-paying” players.

The shown multiplayer modus in the gameplay trailer gives us a first glimpse, how the teamplay in Diablo 3 will work.
After defeating monsters, every player will be given his / her own loot, so “lootgrabbing” will not be possible anymore.
You can heal your companions, while running over the new implemented orbs, the bossfights will need more tactics and teamwork, and everything looks much faster and more dynamic.

We can’t wait for more details!
