Yesterday evening the Games Convention 2007 closed it’s doors and it has not been very spectacular for Diablo fans.
It was hot as hell not only because of the high temperature also the hot convention-babes made one sweat but the Lord of Terror could not be attracted by that…
The stand of Blizzard which seemed to be one of the most frequented ones of the whole convention, was only intended for playing Starcraft 2 and Wrath of the Lich King. There was neither a supporting program nor any room for presentations or announcements though it would have been perfect to fill the long queue-time.
The ones who were interested in presentations of Games like Far Cry 2 e.g. had to wait for a very long period of time because the over 18 areas were only a little bigger than a conventional prison cell, instead they were overcrowded as the cells in a third world country.
If one wanted to play games like World in Conflict there were enough chances to do that but other publishers spent more for the decoration and the supporting program instead of investing in PCs.
All in all the GC was very informative especially for those who did not visit the convention at Saturday which was the day with the greatest number of visitors.
For the sorely afflicted Diablo fan this means to wait and see.
